The WIP (Work-In-Progress) Tracking System is a digital solution that records and monitors each unit as it moves through the manufacturing process — capturing who is working, on which unit, using which machine, and how long each task takes. All through simple QR code scanning.

Normal Mode
Standard production flow for new units. Each unit follows the complete step-scan process from workstation to completion. All session data is recorded and linked to the unit’s Serial Number or Job Order.
Standard Production
Rework Mode
Re-process flow for units that require correction or rework. This follows the same step-scan process but is recorded separately as a rework session, ensuring that production and rework data remain clearly differentiated.

  • Session Resume
    If an operator navigates away mid-session, they can resume by re-scanning the same steps. Timer continues from the original start time — no data lost.
  • Step-by-Step Validation
    Each scan is validated before proceeding. Invalid codes, wrong process types, and busy machines are detected and rejected automatically.
  • Centralised Data Recording
    All completed sessions stored in a centralised MySQL database, linked to each unit's Serial Number (SN) or Job Order (JO) for full traceability.
  • Mobile-Friendly Interface
    Web-based system accessible on any device — mobile, tablet, or desktop. No app installation required. Works on any modern browser.
